This article does a good job of detailing some of the symptoms of ADD that tend to be present in women (while men tend to have symptoms that more closely match the "classic" patterns of the disorder). Much of this is based on societal stereotypes that I personally find somewhat sexist; however, I am a female who got diagnosed with mild ADD at 21 (I was told that people, especially women who are good at compensating and manage to do well in school usually escape diagnosis), so maybe I shouldn't complain.
