Emphasizes the while medication is helpful in treating most children with ADHD that medication in conjunction with therapy is a better alternative. It also emphasizes that groups like preschoolers have no definitive treatment, as in some cases the side effects of medicating a preschooler can include insomnia, nervousness, and a whole host of issues that may be worse than not medicating them at all. Touched on adults briefly but it seems this is more geared towards a treatment plan for children of school age.

This page begins with a mention of the MTA, the definitive study of treatment options for ADHD. The MTA found that medication is the single most beneficial treatment for ADHD, so it's not surprising that this article focuses on that approach, though it certainly emphasizes the importance of behavioral therapy as well. Well balanced and informative.
